She loves the little things.
She loves the way birds sing to lighten the day,
She loves the way the ocean relentlessly kisses the shore,
And she loves the way the clouds are always dancing.
She loves the whistles the creeks sound as they move by,
She loves how the sunlight dapples through blooming trees,
She loves how the air smells in the shade of a spring day.
She loves being happy.
She loves bright colors because they lighten the soul.
She loves a pure smile and how it captures in a never ending photo.
She loves happy music and the way it makes her want to bounce alive.
She loves the laughter of friends and how it brings them together.
She loves the future for its possibilities and the past for its lessons.
She loves how chocolate can change her mood
And how a kind word can flip a whole day right side up.
She loves that a smile can span deeper than the ocean
And how a laugh can shake someone's world louder than thunder.
She loves the world unconditionally because she firstly loves herself.
She's not afraid to hold back what defines her
And she's willing to show the world who she is inside and out.
She doesn't wear make up because she has no need for a mask.
Happiness is her mask, love is the string that holds it to her,
And hope is the glue that makes it stick.
She believes in all things because she stands for herself.
She can be happy because she knows what the opposite hurts like.
She can see the beauty of all things
Because she has been past the dark line that defines them.
She can go to all places because she believes in them
And she isn't afraid to change or grow.
Her purpose is to have purpose and leave a path behind for others to follow.
She keeps her head up even when her shoulders drop low.
She tries to laugh when the world is telling her to cry.
When she is sad, she lays under the sun and soaks up all the goodness it gifts to the Earth.
She may be sad a little sometime but she is always happy.
She is because she chooses to be.
She's faced her fears and stands tall in their wake.
She's been through trenches of mud but her legs never stopped.
She has her scars but she doesn't cover them up.
She doesn't hide her troubles and in that way, they no longer exist.
She is strong because she has to be.
Her smile is backed by pure pride and an endless truth that life is good.
She believes in the best outcome of everything.
She believes that everyone has good in them.
And she knows that everything will be its best in the end.
When the world is falling apart and the sky is falling down, she looks
up and smiles at the missing pieces because now it's their time to
shine.
She knows that the world isn't perfect and she knows that people aren't either,
But whatever the way, she believes in the hope that stitches all things together
And she knows that her light will never truly fade.
She is like a star in the nighttime sky.
Even if she is surrounded by darkness she still shines bright,
And even when she is gone, her light will always remain.
This is the story of a girl who is the strongest one of us all.
She is the power that never renders, that never fails, that never doesn't get back up.
This is about a girl who is happy in all sorts of times
And who has the utmost faith in the world.
This is a girl who will always love because she is loved.
She is happy
And she knows the world to be.

Morgan
Everyone lost him and I was told to
speak
They gave me that honor because I
once knew him
I knew him when he was young and
full of thoughts
I knew him when he was dull and
tired
I knew him when he told me his plan
He sat there in that blue chair
next to mine
It was science class in eleventh
grade
His eyes rung with cornflower blue
His hair was mucked like trodden
hay on the road side
His name was Morgan and he was my
friend
It was a Friday, the day he told me
It was so long ago now that I
remember...
He looked at me with his lips
pursed and stern
He told me how he was planning to
die
This is when the light tilted and I
saw deeper into him
We met in a different science two
years before
He sat down next to me and slept
through class
He never took notes but he always
aced the tests
I was jealous of him and his
talents
I was jealous of a boy who knew
everything
His mouth parted quickly and
precisely that day in eleventh grade
I listened intently to every word
he spewed
There weren't that many so I had to
make every one count
I knew he wanted me to listen, if
not me than any one
Someone deserved to listen
I will die when I am forty-three
when I have accomplished nothing
With a dimming smile I asked him
how he knew
I asked him in what kind of
accident would he die
Never switching glances and never
drifting in thought, his lips part again and the truth falls out
I will kill myself
He told me with a sort of light in
his eyes,
So in the air of the moment, I kept
my own kind of light
A dull smile left his lips once he
heard the words aloud
I tried to keep up my own smile, as
if I could bring his back
His smile returned, possibly since
he realized how awkward the moment could be
I always thought highly of him
I was always jealous of him
I always saw a darkness hidden in
him
But he always looked into the light
so well
He would always blend in better
that way
But if you accomplish great things?
I asked him, turning in that school blue chair of mine
His head fell crooked and he pried
in my eyes for me to see the truth
This is how he truly felt about it
all, he really didn't believe he would amount to anything
It was hard for me in that moment,
to grasp this, but seeing as this is what he wanted, I gave in
A chuckle bubbled up in my throat
and then I didn't not agree with him, I let him have his way
Looking back to all those years
ago, these memories of Morgan will never be tarnished
He was a good boy and an even
greater man and I am still jealous of him to this day
I am jealous because of his
determination
He may not have strove for the same
things you and I reach for, but he did what he felt he was to do
Morgan knew his place in the world
and he knew just how to leave it
Once Loved
I am not your dolly!
You can not play with me!
I had a heart before you broke
it!
I was happy before you stripped
it away!
I was alive at one time in the
past,
A time before I met you.
You left me here,
In the darkness of the pit you
dug out.
You left me here,
In this place you tricked me into
lolling to.
You left me here,
In this shell of a person who was
once full of light.
You put me here.
You left me like this.
I was once beautiful and bright
like the sun,
Now I'm dull and dreary like a
puddle in the mud.
I was able to sing once,
But that was before I cried my
voice away.
I could fly before,
But then you clipped my wings and
cut them away.
I am nothing now,
And I used to be everything.
I was happy.
I was free.
I was everything anyone ever
wanted to be.
But that was before I met you.
That was before you stole my
heart.
No Love
There is nothing on the inside!
I am interrupted by hatred of all
those surrounding me!
No one can hear me screaming!
No one even cares!
They all doubt me.
They all butcher my existence.
They don't love me.
I
don't even love myself.
Drama Queens
Their lives run a muck and they
pull me in without warning.
They drown me in their sorrows.
They rack at what I have to give.
They tare away my kindness.
They live on the attention that I
am forced to give.
They suck me dry like leeches.
I can't break free.
I can't get away.
I am stuck here in this cage they
threw me in.
I was only trying to help.
I only wanted to make them feel
better.
I didn't know that I was their
next source.
I didn't know that they were
going to strip me down and skin away my happiness.
I thought I could make them
happy.
I thought I could brighten up
their lives.
No.
They live on the stuff.
The live on the pain,
The attention,
The misery,
The dread.
They live on what I am able to
give them.
They survive solely on my ear and
input.
I am losing so much and I cannot
escape.
I cannot break free.
I cannot run away.
I am drowning in their self-pity.
Help me.
Help.

First Bird of Morn
I hear the bird chirping and it makes my heart sing, it opens my eyes, and awakes my heart from its slumber, it is a truly marvelous thing.

Movies and Dreams
Movies help you escape the world
Help you put away all your troubles
You don’t think, or worry, or wonder
You just know, that you like what you’re seeing,
And feeling inside
Movies and dreams are almost exactly alike
Some are scary, and some are happy
\sometimes you don’t get to chose what your seeing
You may like it, you may not.
But at the end of the day,
You wish that you were back at that special moment
Even if you think you don’t, you do
Movies and dreams are a wonderful thing
They are filled with wonder, and bliss
And when you think that all is over
You close your eyes and open again
To find yourself in another dimension
You aren’t quite sure of how you got here
But you are sure that all of this is real
And that’s the beauty of movies and dreams
They take you away
And all you want to do is stay.
Invaded
The beautiful lush over growing woods
How the nice flowing clear creek trickles down the rocks
The wind rushing through the trees leaves
Birds fly high above the trees seeing everything
Over grown and beautiful
Then the creek gets foggy
The majestic birds land on the wooded floor
The wind stops blowing through the trees
Trash everywhere
The woods have been invaded by careless kids
I know that is isn't very good at all, but it's something that truly happened to me, when I was younger of course. I just stumbled apon it, and much of other things I wrote, and I thought that it disserved to be seen. Of course, it won't be though, probably only by one person, Janet, but it may get one or if I'm lucky enough, two people who even stumble upon my little site. Well, Anne out.

The Stormy Haze
All throughout the stormy haze
Soldiers came from far away
We know today we'll shed our blood
There's always something to tell you wrong
Soldiers fight and blood was spread
All throughout the kingdom's land
Because today it starts to rain
The soldiers run into their caves
Everyone has been rained out
When it stops they all emerge
Weapons high then to the ground
We lost the fight so what's there now
When all gave up and killed our land
We had our ways but now the stormy haze
The kingdom's land is stern and hard
Not be forgiven not for now
And all throughout the stormy haze
Our brothers fought and won again
Soldiers came from far away
We know today we'll shed our blood
There's always something to tell you wrong
Soldiers fight and blood was spread
All throughout the kingdom's land
Because today it starts to rain
The soldiers run into their caves
Everyone has been rained out
When it stops they all emerge
Weapons high then to the ground
We lost the fight so what's there now
When all gave up and killed our land
We had our ways but now the stormy haze
The kingdom's land is stern and hard
Not be forgiven not for now
And all throughout the stormy haze
Our brothers fought and won again

Bridge Over Troubled Water
I walk out into the night,
Not knowing what will happen.
I walk onto the hard driveway,
And make my way to the road.
I keep walking until I reach,
The no longer useable bridge.
It starts to rain,
Soon it turns to a down pour.
I cross my arms and lean on the soft wood,
My hair sticking to my neck.
Nothing heard.
No one around to see my tears,
That mix with the water running down my face.
I look over the edge,
Only to make out,
A bridge over troubled water.
Not knowing what will happen.
I walk onto the hard driveway,
And make my way to the road.
I keep walking until I reach,
The no longer useable bridge.
It starts to rain,
Soon it turns to a down pour.
I cross my arms and lean on the soft wood,
My hair sticking to my neck.
Nothing heard.
No one around to see my tears,
That mix with the water running down my face.
I look over the edge,
Only to make out,
A bridge over troubled water.

Music
You have to close your eyes
And see the music
Feel it running about and dancing
Let it follow you into your heart
And dance your way through the new millennium.
Forget your worst troubles and fears,
You no longer have to wait
Just don't forget that it's always there.
In the darkest of nights
It's always there to help you dance your way out,
You can sing in the rain
When no one's watching,
Or you can dance your heart out on the stage.
Either way, don't get pulled down,
And if you fall, the music inside of you
Will always be there to help you back up
And see the music
Feel it running about and dancing
Let it follow you into your heart
And dance your way through the new millennium.
Forget your worst troubles and fears,
You no longer have to wait
Just don't forget that it's always there.
In the darkest of nights
It's always there to help you dance your way out,
You can sing in the rain
When no one's watching,
Or you can dance your heart out on the stage.
Either way, don't get pulled down,
And if you fall, the music inside of you
Will always be there to help you back up

The Kind of Person
I'm the kind of person who,
Would make faces and noises when she sees her cats
Who would braid her entire head of hair during science class, just because
Who would be able to quote the entire Spongebob: The Movie movie
Who flicks off her best friend contently during school
Who has a different hair style for everyday
Who lies down in the middle of the road and takes a nap
Who would blow off a huge boating trip just to see her best friend for a couple of hours
Who would go tubing for four hours straight and then wonder the next day why she was so sore
Who can't even talk to people who haven't seen the movie Star Wars
Who thinks that the ocean is trying to kill her
And who thinks every one is calling her fat in some kind of code
I'm the kind of person who would make a quiz about herself, and then take it twenty times over
Who would scream at clouds and chase birds
Who would have a hissing fight with a goose
Who unfriends all of her friends on facebook because she just fells like it
Who spells person and friends wrong
And who gets upset when her best friend doesn't eat chick-fil-a at the restaurant,
And when her best friend goes on picnics with other people secretly
I'm the kind of person who gets a packet of gummy worms and then gets super pissed because someone loses them
I'm the person who has seen every single movie in the movie theater
And know the words to every single song instantly
And who cuddles a box of cheerios, because she's hungry.
I am that kind of person, but that's what makes me, me.
Would make faces and noises when she sees her cats
Who would braid her entire head of hair during science class, just because

Change
Change is for the best
Even if you don't think it is
Even if you think the world's going to end
And there's no tomorrow
Hang in there
Because change is good
You will find what your looking for
It will happen when you least expect it
When you are the most home sick
And down in the dumps
It will find you
And you will be glad it changed
Even if you don't think it is
Even if you think the world's going to end
And there's no tomorrow
Hang in there
Because change is good
You will find what your looking for
It will happen when you least expect it
When you are the most home sick
And down in the dumps
It will find you
And you will be glad it changed

Heavy Wings
Heavy wings grow higher
They taste the sky and feel alive again
They wish that they could reach
Through the clouds and touch the ground again
For even though they have dreamt about this
They miss the soft green grass
Beneath their feet
Their soul longing to be itself once more
And wish that their voice could go through the clouds
And whisper in the past, to better times

Memory
Something is never as good as you remember it to be
Because a memory is an infectious disease
It takes over your mind,
And your heart
You try to grasp onto what once was
And believe what you want
But when that special time comes
And you you find yourself on the path where reality and memories meet
You realize that once was, is no longer there
And when you come to face reality,
It is the point in you life, that you have to let go of your memories
And you find yourself on the path once more
Your on the path between memories and the truth
You are at the fork
You can never have both
You must chose.
Memory, or truth
To chose memory, and lose yourself in what once was,
Or to take the path of truth and reality, and be disapointed
I will always chose the path
The path that makes me think about the truth
Because a memory is an infectious disease
It takes over your mind,
And your heart
You try to grasp onto what once was
And believe what you want
But when that special time comes
And you you find yourself on the path where reality and memories meet
You realize that once was, is no longer there
And when you come to face reality,
It is the point in you life, that you have to let go of your memories
And you find yourself on the path once more
Your on the path between memories and the truth
You are at the fork
You can never have both
You must chose.
Memory, or truth
To chose memory, and lose yourself in what once was,
Or to take the path of truth and reality, and be disapointed
I will always chose the path
The path that makes me think about the truth

Rain
Darkened clouds form ahead
As I look out from my bed
A spark of hope I feel inside
I get up to go outside
Waiting, waiting for the rain
Cause I am feeling a small pain
Rain, rain you MUST come
To settle a deed I have done
The spark inside of me starts to fade
Until a rain drop falls on my head
The spark inside comes back alive
I never want to go inside
I show a smile for it is here
The rain has come, and there is no fear
As I look out from my bed
A spark of hope I feel inside
I get up to go outside
Waiting, waiting for the rain
Cause I am feeling a small pain
Rain, rain you MUST come
To settle a deed I have done
The spark inside of me starts to fade
Until a rain drop falls on my head
The spark inside comes back alive
I never want to go inside
I show a smile for it is here
The rain has come, and there is no fear
Dream
Starlight and moonlight are the only things seen in the darkness that surrounds me. A cold breeze brushes up against my skin. Death whispers on my shoulder. Then another person appears in front of me, almost transparent. "Do not fear, my child, for I will not hurt you. I have come to ask you to let me be free. I am in a better place. Let me go... Let me be free." The almost transparent person then disappeared and the whispers of death grew weaker and weaker and soon disappeared. Then the hard rocky floor turned into soft soil and tall green grass. A soft beam of sunlight gleamed over my head. I looked around to see a field of tall green grass surrounded by green trees. I dropped down on my knees and whispered to the ground, "I beg of you, don't let this disappear for I am so happy and filled with joy." Then the soft ground started to rumble and quickly fell and darkness surrounded me once more. It feels like I'm lying on a flat and hard yet soft surface. My eyes start to see the sticky stars which make up my ceiling and I realize that it has been, just another dream...

Bloom Bloosm
Sun bloosm bloom
In the feild of light
Moon bloosm bloom
In the valley of light
Bloosm, bloosm you must bloom
On shiny day or lightened night
For if you dont
They will be sad
The sun and moon
Shinning light
In the feild of light
Moon bloosm bloom
In the valley of light
Bloosm, bloosm you must bloom
On shiny day or lightened night
For if you dont
They will be sad
The sun and moon
Shinning light
Word Of More Than Friendship
The word of more than friendship you must hear,
If you want to be more than a friend you will.
To be a friend you must say
My name is here and I'm here to stay.
Through thin and thick
Im always there,
And it doesn't matter if you don't care
Your troubles are mine, and so are your tears
We'll share the same fears
And I'll always protect you
No matter what, even in the worst of storms
If you want to be more than a friend you will.
To be a friend you must say
My name is here and I'm here to stay.
Through thin and thick
Im always there,
And it doesn't matter if you don't care
Your troubles are mine, and so are your tears
We'll share the same fears
And I'll always protect you
No matter what, even in the worst of storms
Summer Rain
Hot and heavy summer rain falls
Running, running to the ground
Soaking, Soaking the trees and plants
Summer, summer rain must fall
For when it's gone
Things will dry
And things will die
Untill, untill summer rain falls
Again,once again.
Running, running to the ground
Soaking, Soaking the trees and plants
Summer, summer rain must fall
For when it's gone
Things will dry
And things will die
Untill, untill summer rain falls
Again,once again.
